"Babs, I can reveal, is on a holistic wellness retreat at Sitarswami's Mystic Kali-Yuga Karwash©, Koreatown L.A., where the Swami will personally mentor her through the Chakric Levels of auto care, including lube n' wax jobs. She will return exuding that New Car Smell what guys are helpless to resist."

I did visit a Buddhist temple.

Goes without saying, and yes I'm enjoying the ride...

Tried to visit, but unfortunately,
I made a wrong turn.

If you're talking about the one in Wales, it was closed the day I tried to visit.

I was in Los Altos, California, where my granddaughter was married.

    2. I paid attention to Bab's and others comments either here or Isle of Foam. Bab's made mention to having family in California. So on to my conclusion and being a wiener.

    1. draftervoi, My dad's family came from Alameda. The island. Dad & his two brothers grew up there and then joined the service in WWII. I spent many summers visiting. I still have one cousin that lives there.

  12. Congrats and welcome back! I got unexpectedly sucked into the vortex where time starts eating itself last Friday and when iTunes went from the exquisite post-bop expressionism of Bennie Wallace's "The Free Will" to the Walmart gutter trash of "Gangstagrass" (OBG's fault!) on the spare laptop I sometime use to browse and download music you were the person I thought of that could truly appreciate the "so it's all come to this" cosmic joke of it.

It was like solving a four dimensional trigonometry equation to do it but I finally managed to get your Grateful Dead Pacific Northwest freeload playing and it was absolutely sublime! So thanks for that, you saved my sanity!
