'Cuz Babs Sez, That's Why',
will be on a short hiatus for a week or so.
Here we go again, <sigh>. Last week, I had my annual (soon to become semi-annual) Cancer screening, and it raised a "Red Flag". So tomorrow, I'll get poked and prodded for several hours, and then I'll have surgery on Wednesday, and released on Thursday. I've been assured, that it's a routine procedure, and there's nothing to worry about.
In the meantime, here's
These are limited edition remastered SHM-CDs with bonus tracks, and they sound amazingly good! These are the digital versions you should have.

As they used to say in Austin-- Onward Thru The Fog!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, you got this!
On the cash register at a bar I worked at in Santa Fe (in the 70's) had a bumpersticker that said ONWARD Thru The Fog! It had another that said Clayton Moore is The Lone Ranger. For a long time I ended all my emails & letters with ONWARD Thru The Fog! Thanks notBob & thanks Babs
ReplyDeleteYes, ONWARD was capitalized, forgot that...Had the sticker on a couple of vehicles way back when. I Think it started at Oat Willie's headshop in Austin. I'm pretty sure Austin's still there, but don't know about Oat Willie....
DeleteCorrect. Thanks
Delete"teh ATX" is still there, but some days ya gotta squint pretty hard....being old helps too.
DeleteBeing old sucks, but I guess it beats the alternative...barely.
DeleteI hope by now the red flag has been lowered, Babs. But however the things go, know that you've got a lot of supporters out here pulling for you and appreciating everything you do for this community.
ReplyDeleteJeez, good luck, Babs!
ReplyDeleteANON RF: Thinking of you Babs, and looking forward to good news!
ReplyDeleteBabs, hope this might help somehow, maybe it'll bring a smile.
ReplyDeletePut a lime in the coconut and drink 'em both together
Put the lime in the coconut, then you feel better
That said, I'm not a doctor & I don't play one on tv. This is not actual medical advice (but I think you already knew that.)
Thanks Babs
Thanks to one and all for your kind words!
ReplyDeletethank you for all you do and i hope everything goes your way re, your health.
