The Rolling Stones - 'Singles Collection: The London Years'

'Singles Collection: The London Years' is a compilation the Rolling Stones' singles released between 1963 and 1971, covering A-sides, B-sides, and alternate B-sides from both U.S. and U.K. editions.  Plus those associated with the 1975 outtakes compilation album Metamorphosis.

I really don't know what to say about this remarkable set that hasn't already been said.  I will say that this is why The Rolling Stones are my favorite rock & roll band.

  4. -Street Fighting Man- that acoustic guitar intro is so sublime.
-Bitch- funniest memory of that song was back when Letterman had Richard Simmons as a frequent guest, he would walk onto the stage with Paul Shaffer playing this song.
-Paint it Black if for no other reason than Jones' sitar work.
    - Wild Horses because it finally got Graham Parsons the recognition that he deserved.
-She's a Rainbow because at that time, it was unlike anything else they had done (but, same could be said of that entire lp).
